August the 15th...
I just arrived home from the US Open at Snowmass, Colorado. I ended up geting
injured and didn't compete but all in all we had an awesome time. This time,
rather than traveling alone, I had my best friend Justin, Jonny, and the 3
harlets (Strouchan, Alana, and Dannielle). It made out to be the most awesome
trip I've had so far...just ask Baron, Jereme, or PT.
As far as the riding goes, it was off the hook. Leon killed the course and
Jereme made the big air slopestyle look like it was built for kids. Many thanks
to Mitch, Dan, and PT for puting on such an amazing event. Also Props out to
Doug Webb, Gene, and the rest of the dirt dawgs crew for running an awesome
mountainboard camp. Props to Dave Sansone for busting back out onto the scene.
OH...and Steve Rausch for overseeing and always being there for the riders.
July the 23rd...
Race Day at the Holler mountainboard park...Riders from
the west, east, and central United States showed up for this event...even a few
from England. It was an awesome time getting to ride again with the PA crew, Tom
Haycock, Dave Compton, Justin, Cole, Tyler, TEAM HEAVY, Baron, Curtis, and the
guy who just wont lose again. All in all a good day, you could feel the
excitement as riders flew down the course and aired huge off the kicker.
Congrats to Justin for winning the racing and Jereme for taking the freestyle.
Luckily no one got seriously hurt...actually Matt McClain went down and broke 3
different bones in his foot but he’ll be alright. Thanks to Justin for holding
such an awesome event and good luck in the future with everything you’re
planning on doing.
July the 14th...
Matt McClain introduces me to the loading dock. This 4 foot drop out of a tunnel has got to be one of the funnest features I have ever ridden. Some of the highlights were switch backside 3's, frontside 5's and props to Matt for doing some pretty huge frontside 180's and stomping them like they were nothing.

not fall. Somebody needs to feed Tom Haycock a TACO.
If it wasn't for Ground Industries support I wouldn't have any of these opportunities...I might not even be riding this year. Laura Linkmeyer at Six Six One Protection has helped keep my knees, elbows, hands, and head unscathed. Spence and Dan at DUST mountainboard apparel have been there for me since the begining...and they're really nice guys. John Caruso, Greg and everyone else at Aluminum Overhead Door...Thanks for putting up with me and letting me take the time off to follow my dreams.
