July the 7th...

I'm heading out to the Holler mountainboard park to practice and stay with Papa, Mama, and JD Rhodes. Little does Justin know that getting the 4 wheeler stuck on the porch, blowing up the pond, flipping the quad, eating all the food, and shooting fireworks at bee hives were all on JD's and my agenda. But little did we know that rain and more weed-eating than we could have ever imagined possible was on his list of things to do.

June the 25th...

The competition in Canton, Pennsylvania is over and I've decided to turn down the trip to the UK. Instead I'm staying in Greenville, South Carolina to help out around the ground industries office.

The night of June the 21st...

I'm sitting in a car with 2 of the most awesome girl I have ever met when the green expedition arrives. My best friend, Justin, gets out of the driver seat as a group of my other close friends get out of the back. It's midnight at Zuma Beach and the moon is full. Next thing we know skimboards are flying everywhere and we're runnning to the ocean that awaits us. Little did I know that this was going to be one of the most awesome nights that I can remember. As I look at all of the moonlit bodies and hear the laughter as someone falls the thought of 3 competitions, a trip to England, and having nothing nothing packed for the 5 week trip that starts at 9:30 that morning fades away. We're all having a blast and that's all that matters. Needless to say, I barely got everything packed and I missed the flight...but it was worth it.
