Tom Humphrey (aka Electric Lifeform)
has been producing electronic music for 6 years. Soon after his first
interest in production he stormed through a 2-year music technology course
and quickly began writing more interesting, well-produced tracks. E:LF
evolved from a 2-piece electronica artist with accompanying improvised
guitar to a solo project taking on all aspects of production himself.
His influences are a long affair and include every genre of music under the
sun. His latest work is aimed at the hard dance floor but previous work has
included instrumental pieces as well as work with a melodic female vocalist.
Tom Humphrey has been a keen mountain boarder and was soon asked by the UK
ATBA to Dj at last years World Freestyle Competition. The massive variation
of music styles heard that weekend attracted the attention of Jeff Haughton
from Ground Industries. Now interested in E:LF’s production, Ground
Industries are to use his productions on the new peep show videos!
Tom Spent the whole summer season touring the UK, Djin at every UK series
event as the ATBA resident Dj. Now he is back from his travels and quickly
settling back into writing more material and promoting his music at his
London nightclub residencies.

Grayman has been involved in music in one shape or form for
the last 15 years. Starting life with UK based gothesque-dirtbag-indie outfit
Pollen, he then moved onto the slightly more user-friendly BOC. Both bands
were well respected on the unsigned circuit, and played support to outfits such
a Space, Gallon Drunk, Feeder and other names of the day. Following a
stint as a promoter and drum’n’bass/big beat DJ, Grayman fell out of love with
music until teaming up with the awsome Skrimshank to offer a different
perspective to some of their tracks on the Redemption album, released on Smut.
Finally... Grayman has gone it alone, under the name GraymanATB. The initial
offering “#5in05”, topped the Soundclick.com Alternative chart and has been
followed up by the awesome Nah Nah Nah, featuring Pez from Skrimshank. One
listen and you're hooked...

Skrimshank were formed in November '03 by Pez (poetry) and Damo
(beats/sequences/production) with the main
aim of making original, sample-free tunes with mad-ass unique
lyricism. You wont hear the Shank talking about their hoes, bitches or uzi's
because firstly they’re lacking in both and secondly, they’ve got other things
on their minds! Skrimshank don't use computers for anything other than
getting their music to the masses. With the addition of Grayman (guitars/song)
to the line-up in June ’04, Skrimshank have broken even newer ground, and go on
setting the standards for the rest of the pack!
The tracks to date are the product of months worth of Friday night sessions and this has led to their raw, trademark sound! You get what they give and just when you think you’ve got them sussed, they pop up with something fresh to blow you away!

The Widdershins make smart pop-punk rock in the tradition of Saves the Day and Gang of Four. Enjoyable and fun while still being smart, the music is driven by Mike Lockard’s Pete Townsend-meets-Peter Buck guitar chords, heightened by Duane Ballenger’s playful yet appropriate lyrics, and then locked in place by the energetic drumming of Scott Hoffman and the bouncing bass lines of Taylor Vandiver. Their first and only release, the self-titled debut Widdershins, is a brilliant light that overpowers the gloom and gravity of post-grunge. Along the way The Widdershins have opened for Le Chevre and Elf Power and have been the house band for the annual Wide Awake Press Christmas party since 2001. Sadly, they played their last show on December 17, 2005 after Dr. Mike Lockard was offered a position at MIT, but their music is still available to a public eager for new music.
